Topic: Junk Mail Tarot (Revisited)
Back in 2016 for the June Solstice, wrangler Morgan Drake Eckstein of Gleamings from the Golden Dawn proposed one of my all-time favorite blog hop topics: Junk Mail Tarot. I liked it so much I wrote on it for a second blog hop and then once on my own.
For this year's mid-summer hop, I propose we start watching the mail slot and create some junk mail tarot!
The original mission Morgan set for us was a collage project using whatever images you could come across, either stuff lying around the house or images from online.
I would like to tighten his rules just a bit and propose that you choose only items that come through the mail slot (or arrive in the mailbox, or you pick up at the PO; I don't know exactly how you get your junk mail).
When you find a tarot-worthy image, you can scan it. Alternately, I've found that a lot of the time these days the circular or magazine article is also posted online somewhere, so if scanning is not a possibility, chances are you can find the junk mail item in jpg format.
Once you've found or collaged your tarot-perfect image, create a card out of it by adding a frame and title as you wish. You can tell us why you chose the image and how it reminds you of a tarot card.
Make as many junk mail tarot cards as you like for your post!
